Message	from the front of each valve cover straight down until they stick out just slightly under the car. Like I mentioned the engine does have some blowby so I figured it was going to make a mess if I vented them anywhere in the engine compartment. The hoses vent a small amount of vapor when the car is idling but they have never dripped any oil or left any noticeable residue on the bottom of the car.
